ScanProve explains here what data we collect and how we handle it when you use scanprove.com and related apps.
What data we collect
- Email address — when you sign up or contact us.
- User ID — to associate your account with scans and settings.
- Scan activity — URLs scanned, scan results, and related metadata from HyperAgent deep scans and env/vision scans.
- Payment history — processed by Stripe; we store references needed to fulfill purchases (e.g. plan, scan packs, deep scans), not full card numbers.
How we use it
- To provide the ScanProve service — running scans, saving history, and showing results.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions or one-time purchases.
- To improve the product and respond to support requests.
Data storage
- Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security so users can only access their own records where applicable.
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs.
- API keys you save for BYOK are stored on your user record and used only to run scans on your behalf.
How to delete your account
- You can delete your account directly in the app by going to Account Settings and tapping Delete Account. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing hello@scanprove.com with the subject Delete My Account.
Third party services
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Stripe — payments and checkout.
- Anthropic — AI analysis for scans (including when you use your own API key).
- Hyperbrowser — live browser sessions for HyperAgent deep scans.
- These providers have their own privacy policies; we only share what is needed to run the service.
